What is Baptism?
Baptism is an external symbol of an internal transformation. If you have, by faith, embraced Jesus as your Lord, your next step is baptism. In following the New Testament pattern, Tapestry practices believer’s baptism. Just as Jesus was baptized by full immersion, those who trust in Him today are encouraged to do so immediately upon a profession of faith. Baptism is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, personalized and played out before the church. It is a public profession of your faith.
What does Baptism look like at Tapestry?
Tapestry’s baptisms take place outside on the baptism lawn and typically follow a Sunday morning worship service. Towels are provided and information on what to wear and what to expect will be sent to you prior to the big day.
